Terms of Service
Last updated June 20, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the alpenglow.xyz website, the ALPEN Node software, and any related interfaces ("Services") operated by ALPENGLOW Labs. By installing the Node, connecting a wallet, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The protocol
ALPENGLOW is a permissionless retail GPU DePIN on the Solana blockchain. ALPEN is a utility token used to reward contributors, secure capacity through staking, and meter inference demand. ALPEN is not an investment instrument and nothing in the Services is financial, legal, or tax advice.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.
- You are responsible for any local laws that apply to operating GPU compute or holding digital assets.
3. Running the ALPEN Node
- You decide when the Node runs and which jobs to accept. The Node uses your GPU, bandwidth, and electricity.
- Rewards depend on uptime, hardware tier, verification mix (TEE / OPML / ZK), and stake multiplier as documented.
- Fraud, spoofed attestations, or malicious behavior may result in slashing of staked ALPEN as defined by the protocol.
4. Wallets and on-chain actions
You are solely responsible for the security of your Solana wallet, private keys, and any transactions signed with it. We cannot recover lost keys, reverse transactions, or unfreeze on-chain assets.
5. Fees and payouts
Inference is settled in USDC on Solana. The documented fee split (stakers, provider, burn, treasury) is enforced on-chain by the protocol. Network fees apply to all transactions.
6. Acceptable use
- No attempts to compromise the network, manipulate attestations, or evade slashing.
- No use of the Services to process unlawful content or to violate third-party rights.
- No reverse engineering of TEE attestation flows in a way that breaks integrity guarantees.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, specific earning rates, the value of ALPEN, or that the protocol will be free of bugs, exploits, or chain-level events.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALPENGLOW Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, hardware damage, or loss of digital assets arising from your use of the Services.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
10. Contact
Legal questions should be sent through the official ALPENGLOW contact channel.
